Our introductory pottery classes in London are a brilliant way to get a feel for working with clay on the wheel, a practice which is known as ‘throwing’. Each participant will have their own wheel and be carefully taught through the process by an expert tutor. Whether you book for yourself or a group of friends, this is a wonderfully social and spirited introduction to the joys of throwing.

You will learn how to wedge – prepare the clay – as well as centre – secure the clay on the wheel – and throw – pulling up the walls of the clay into a cylinder. This is an uplifting, inspiring experience. You will throw multiple pots and can choose one to be glazed and fired, which will be ready to collect within 3-4 weeks.

Please refer to our Terms and Conditions. Note that our cancellation policy is within 48 hours. Cancellations made less than 48 hours will be charged the total class fee.

We are advised not to teach pregnant women after three months.

We do not take children on our group classes. Please contact the Studio directly for more information on classes for children under the age of 16.

If purchasing multiple tickets on behalf of others, please ensure you have reserved a ticket for each person in your group onto the class – listing their name and email address – to ensure their place is booked and helps us contact them for the collection of their work.
